I was looking at the Flashcard program iFlash today and it looks pretty neat. One of the features they have is called interval studying. If you click the link you’ll see a screenshot of what they’ve done. Anybody think this would be a useful type feature to add? I also like their idea of downloading decks from a deck library. But I’ll save that for another time. =)

We now have a SuperMemo plugin for the ZDT. You can download it from here. As with any other plugin, just drop it into your zdt/plugins directory. You’ll then see a new ‘supermemo‘ in the Export wizard. This is actually our first user contributed zdt plugin as it was written by Wade Chia. Thanks again Wade!
Roddy of Chinese-forums fame was nice enough to create a ZDT subforum. So if you have any suggestions, complaints or whatever about the ZDT, feel free to post there.
Update 9/21/06: The Supermemo plugin is now included in v0.5.0 and above.

I just bought a copy of PlecoDict for my Axim x50. I like it a lot so far. But of course I want to use my ZDT wordlists with it. So, I opened up Eclipse and about 30 minutes later, I had created my very own PlecoDict plugin. Anyone who’s interested can grab a copy of it from the SF page. Just download the jar file and place it in your zdt/plugins directory. You then should see a plecodict option in the Export Format dropdown of the ZDT Export wizard. There’s one option that allows you to specify whether or not to export the definition. If you don’t, then PlecoDict will fill in the definition with the definition in its own dictionary. I’ve found that to be really useful and cool.
